About The Teacher

My name is Jamie O'Hara, and it is my pleasure and honor to work with your students each day. This is my twentieth year under the employ of the Etiwanda School District and my fifteenth year as a teacher.

This is my eighth year as a Wildcat! Prior to that, I taught 5th grade at both Golden and DWL, as well as the first grade at DWL. I also taught 7th for two years at SIS before joining the fabulous 8th-grade team at EIS; I love learning from and with my students. This school year definitely presents us with many opportunities to learn and grow in our classroom environment. I hold very high standards for our  interactions and will be working to present lessons with depth and rigor.

I have been married for 30 years to John, and we have three children: Sean, 28, Ryan, 26, and Kathleen, 20. I love to read, spend time with my family, go to the beach, take photographs, collect Longaberger baskets, take vacations in Cambria, watch movies, and travel. I love to snuggle with my Goldendoodle, Barkley, my Labradoodle, Roxy, and adore all things Halloween.
